Supply Chain Management appointments at Ankleshwar PU

As part of the Miranda Tools integration process and to bring more focus on the Sandvik way of working and Governance at our production unit in Ankleshwar India, we are pleased to announce the following organizational changes.

Effective from 15 February, Naveen Kandpal, currently Business Controller at Dormer Pramet PU Ankleshwar, will now head the Supply Chain Management (SCM) organisation comprising of procurement, logistics (in/out bound) and warehousing activities.

Naveen is a qualified chartered accountant with a finance background and more than 15 years’ experience across various industries, managing diverse groups and workforce.

The SCM organisation will largely support the PU operations and sales related logistics, such as establishing processes and systems to deliver supplies into our distribution centers, as well as setting routines and SOPs for the procurement processes.

With this, Jigar Shah (Strategic Purchasing), Dharmesh Chauhan (Consumables, MRO), Sushil Gautam (Logistics & WH), Eric Anklesaria (RM & Consumable Stores) and Munni Rai (IT local support), will all be part of the SCM organisation and shall report into Naveen.

The process to define the priorities in the SCM organisation will happen over the next few weeks and the high-level organisation chart is available in the right-hand column.

In addition, Naveen will continue in his current role as Business Controller for PU operations and both Rohit Agrawal and Himanshu Shah will continue to be part of the Controlling function, until further notice.

In his new role, Naveen will directly report to Angala Srinivasan, VP-PU Operations India and will be based in Ankleshwar. Please join us in wishing Naveen and his team all success in their new roles.
